Robert has been Shepton Mallet Treatment Centre’s Medical Director since April 2008.

Robert is a consultant anaesthetist with over 15 years experience in healthcare.  Robert brings a wealth of experience from both Scandinavian and Slovakian medical envrionments.

Before joining UKSH, Robert worked as a consultant anaesthetist at St. Jacob Hospital, Bardejov, Slovakia and at Norrlands University Hospital, Umea, Sweden where he had responsibility for regional anaesthesia and acute pain management within the orthopaedic surgery department. 

He has special interest in Ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks.
