To be responsible for the overall clinical management of the designated inpatient areas and supervise all clinical care delivered. The postholder will provide support, advice and guidance to all staff delivering patient care and will work closely with the multidisciplinary team. The Nurse Practitioner/Sister will be expected to maintain high standards of care and be accountable for auditing those standards.
To work in partnership with the Deputy Director of Nursing/In Patients Services Manager to foster an environment in which high quality cost effective services are delivered and where creativity, innovation and staff development all underpin the approach to managing the ward area in which each member of staff is recognised and valued.
