Treatment Centres

­Our first treatment centre in Shepton Mallet opened in July 2005.  Shepton Mallet Treatment Centre is a fully equipped stand alone surgical hospital, providing 12,000 procedures per annum for the NHS. It specialises in orthopaedics, general surgery, endoscopy, ophthalmology and diagnostic imaging.

In November 2009, as well as extending the services we offer at Shepton Mallet we opened three new treatment centres in the South West. These treatment centres are located at Emersons Green, Devizes and Cirencester.

In August 2010 UKSH began operation of the Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre, which provides joint-replacement and minor orthopaedic procedures for NHS patients in Devon and Cornwall.
