MRSA Screening Policy - Statement of Compliance

UK Specialist Hospitals (UKSH) places the highest priority on delivering high quality patient care.
UKSH operates stringent controls to minimise MRSA.  UKSH’s MRSA policy and controls have been in place since its Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre opened in July 2005. To date, UKSH facilities have had no cases of hospital acquired MRSA.

All patients admitted to a UKSH facility for elective procedures are screened for MRSA in advance.
