Andy Howlett
Clinical Services Manager, Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre

Andy joined the Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre in June 2006 and is responsible for professional clinical leadership.  Andy trained at the Royal Naval Hospital Plymouth. Before joining the Peninsula, he worked in the Plymouth Nuffield’s Tamar Surgery Healthport, where he was the Operating Theatre Manager.

Andy’s management experience has been gained mainly in general practice and operating theatres, with a particular focus on anaesthetics.

His experience includes significant involvement in the achievement of CQC standards and clinical governance practices.  Andy is passionate about delivering excellent patient care, and is especially interested in how hospital-wide clinical governance can benefit clinical outcomes for patients.
