Chester has been Shepton Mallet Treatment Centre’s Registered Manager since April 2008.

Having studied Maths and Statistics at the University of Exeter, Chester subsequently gained financial management and leadership experience in a range of business sectors.  Since 1995, Chester has worked in the UK independent healthcare sector.

Before joining UKSH, Chester was with Spire Healthcare, as Hospital Director of their hospital in Tunbridge Wells.  He also spent seven years with Nuffield Hospitals, latterly as General Manager of their Woking hospital.

Chester is particularly interested in developing a streamlined and efficient patient experience.  He is passionate about implementing best practice, and delivering the highest quality service to patients.
