­­­­Dr Catherine Finn
Medical Director

Having qualified from the National Univeristy of Ireland in 1982, Dr Finn undertook post graduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology in the West Midlands. Following completion of her Senior Registrar training at Birmingham Women's Hospital, she became a Consultant Gynaecologist at Good Hope Hospital in Birmingham in 1993.

During her career she has been the lead for colposcopy and gynaecological cancer services. She has been involved in numerous audits of colposcopy practice and patient satisfaction within the West Midlands. She undertook the first major audit of colposcopic outcome performance which has presented both nationally and internationally. Dr Finn is also a member of the National Colposcopy Quality Assurance team and is also the colposcopy representative on the Cervical Screening Programme Evaluation committee.

In addition to her position as Lead for Gynaecological Cancer, she was Clinical Director for Cancer Services for Good Hope Hospital.
