Mr Csernus trained as a Medical Doctor at the Medical University of Debrecen in Hungary, where he also completed his postgraduate training. He undertook specialist exams in general surgery, trauma and orthopaedics.
Initially Mr Csernus’ special interest was trauma surgery, before turning his attention to lower limb arthroplasty. In Hungary he acted as a hip and knee
replacement specialist at the DePuy Johnson and Johnson company.
He moved to the United Kingdom in 2005 and he joined the orthopaedic department in the Great Western Hospital in Swindon. He spent more than five years there and he performed more than 4000 orthopaedic operations in Swindon.
Mr Csernus joined UK Specialist Hospitals in May 2011 as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.
