Dr Mohammadi studied medicine at the Medical University of Szeged, Hungary and obtained his MD in September 1997. Dr Mohammadi undertook his specialist training in ophthalmology after the Hungarian Board of Health implemented the Specialist Training Scheme and qualified in 2002.

Having completed his training Dr Mohammadi began work as an ophthalmologist at Bẻkẻscsaba County Hospital, undertaking cataract and oculoplastic surgeries. From 2006 Dr Mohammadi started work as a consultant ophthalmologist at Csolnoky Ferenc County Teaching Hospital, in Veszprẻm, where he gained experience in laser treatment of diabetic eye disease and intravitreal injection of Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD).

Dr Mohammadi has taken part in a clinical study comparing the efficacy, safety and tolerability of repeated dose of intravitreal injection VEGF Trap-Eye in subjects with neovascular Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD).

Dr Mohammadi has also participated in many national and international courses.
