Mr Rahimi graduated from the University Medical School of Debrecen in Hungary in 1996. He started his training at the ENT Department of Debrecen Faculty of Medicine, pursuing it at the Regional St Pantaleon Hospital in Central Transdanubia and BZSK Metropolitan Hospital in Budapest, Hungary, obtaining his CCT in 2003.

He continued his practice as a Senior ENT Specialist at BZSK in Budapest until 2005 when he joined GMSC in Manchester. He was the ENT Lead from 2007 to 2009 until his appointment by UKSH in 2010.

Mr Rahimi is a member of the British Association of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (BAO hons) as well as the Hungarian and Spanish Otolaryngological Societies.
