Dr Juhasz studied medicine at the Medical University of Debrecen, Hungary, and obtained his MD in 1993. After graduation he worked at the University Clinic of Otolaryngology in Debrecen for 12 years. He qualified as an ENT surgeon in 1997 in Budapest, Hungary.

In 2001, he obtained his PhD in Medical Sciences in the field of head and neck cancer research. From 2005, he started to work at the Greater Manchester Surgical Centre (NHS Treatment Centre) as a Consultant ENT Surgeon. He is a member of The British Association of Otorhinolaryngologists — Head and Neck Surgeons.
