After finishing her studies at Charles University in Prague, Dr Slesingrova started her professional career at the Regional Hospital in Usti nad Orlici, gaining a first and second degree in anaesthesia and intensive care, as well as specialising in emergency and disaster medicine.
Dr Slesingrova has experience of all types of anaesthesia: theatres, blocks, spinal and epidural and general anaesthesia. She continued further education in anaesthesia and accident and emergency.
Having been appointed head of the anaesthetic and intensive Care Department in the Regional Hospital in Rychnov nad Kneznou, Dr Slesingrova then began working abroad in Africa and the United Kingdom.
Dr Slesingrova joined UK Specialist Hospitals as Consultant Anaesthetist in April 2009.
