Following the completion of her formal training in Poland, Dr Lassota-Korba came to the UK to consolidate her knowledge and skills and to gain further experience. She worked in the Anaesthetic Department at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Welwyn Garden City. She attended a management course at Keele University which improved her knowledge of clinical governance, risk management and clinical effectiveness.
Dr Lassota-Korba has worked as a consultant at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston for over two years, providing an anaesthetic service. While on call she led a team of two junior doctors providing emergency anaesthetic care out of hours. Dr Lassota-Korba is dedicated to maintaining high standards of clinical care.
Dr Lassota-Korba has also gained international experience as a Consultant Anaesthetist at Grey Base Hospital, New Zealand, one of the biggest hospitals on the South Island.
