UKSH was also honoured to be nominated as a finalist in four other categories: Management Excellence, Best Use of Technology, Entrepreneurial Achievement and Hotel Services.

On Wednesday 2 November UKSH South West, which operates Cirencester, Devizes and Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centres, celebrated two years of treating local patients. UKSH South West has performed over 26,500 procedures since the three treatment centres opened in November 2009.

UKSH Opens Three New State-of-the-Art Treatment Centres in the South West

Showcasing wonderful facilities and high quality care, the three treatment centres will give local patients more choice of where they can receive their NHS treatment.

UK Specialist Hospitals (UKSH) is delighted to announce the opening of three new treatment centres in Bristol, Cirencester and Devizes, giving local patients more choice of where they can receive their NHS treatment.

Our Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre is a purpose built inpatient and day case facility with four operating theatres and 33 beds.  It offers planned procedures including cataracts, dental extractions, diagnostics, ear, nose and throat procedures, endoscopy, gynaecology, hand and foot procedures, hernias, hip and knee replacements and urology procedures. Inpatient facilities include a choice of single or shared same sex rooms, an on-site chef providing a wide range of fresh and healthy meals, as well as access to free telephone calls, personal TVs and wireless internet.

Our Devizes NHS Treatment Centre is a newbuild day case facility with two operating theatres. It offers planned procedures including cataracts, dental extractions, diagnostics, ear nose and throat procedures, endoscopy, gynaecology, hand and foot procedures, hernias and urology procedures. 

Our Cirencester NHS Treatment Centre is a day case facility based in a newly refurbished section of Cirencester Hospital with one operating theatre. It offers planned procedures including ear, nose and throat procedures, gynaecology, hand and foot procedures, hernias and urology procedures.

We have also expanded the range of services offered at our Shepton Mallet treatment centre to include urology procedures, gynaecology, ear, nose and throat procedures and dental extractions.

All of our treatment centres have free on site parking.

Patients can choose to receive their treatment at any of our treatment centres by asking their GP, Dentist or Optometrist for a referral.

We will build on our successful track record at Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre to ensure we deliver top class patient care at all our facilities.”
