Dr Eduard Lotz joined UKSH in February 2009 as Executive Director of UKSH South West. He is responsible for the management of the three new UKSH facilities in the South West: Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre, Devizes NHS Treatment Centre and Cirencester NHS Treatment Centre.
Originally trained as medical doctor in South Africa, Eduard worked as a doctor until 1996 before moving with a business degree into healthcare management as Medical Superintendent and Chief Executive of a state run 400 bed acute hospital. Following this, he held a number of senior management roles within the independent sector, including Medical Director and Operational Director at Netcare UK and Director of Clinical Services, Care UK.
Eduard brings a wealth of management and medical experience in primary and acute care to his role in managing the UKSH South West treatment centres.
