Mr Stephen Cannon, MA, MChOrth, FRCS

Current Role

Currently a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the NHS Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and The Clementine Churchill Hospital

Experience

Mr Cannon qualified in 1974. He joined the Middlesex Hospital as Senior Registrar in 1982 and enjoyed a rotation with that hospital, Central Middlesex Hospital and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London. In 1988, Mr Cannon was Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to both the national Orthopaedic Hospital and Edgware General Hospital. In 1994 he transferred his non-RNOH sessions to Northwick Park Hospital. He spent over two years at Northwick Park Hospital before concentrating his NHS commitment at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in 1996. Since that date until 2003 he has been Clinical Director and closely involved in the management of The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

Mr S R Cannon received his medical education at Trinity College, Cambridge where he was awarded a Senior Scholarship at the Middlesex Hospital, London.
