Mr Dominic Browse, MBBS, MS, FRCS

Current Role

Currently a Consultant General Surgeon at Good Hope Hospital, part of Heart of England Foundation Trust. His sub-specialty interests are in Gastro-intestinal and Laparoscopic Surgery.

Experience

Mr Browse was appointed at Good Hope Hospital in 1998. He was Clinical Director for General Surgery from 2004 until 2007 when Good Hope Hospital merged with Heart of England Foundation Trust. He has worked as a Surgical Advisor to UKSH since 2007.

Selected Memberships

• Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
• Member of various surgical associations including those for surgery in general (ASGBI), Coloproctology (ACPGBI), Upper GI Surgery (AUGIS) and Laparoscopic Surgery (ALS).

Education

Mr Browse qualified in 1985 from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. He trained in the Oxford region, South East Thames Region (King’s College Hospital) and in Cape Town, South Africa. He was awarded his MS by London University in 1995.
