Jonathan Weiner

Jonathan Weiner was appointed as Chairman of UKSH and Shepton Mallet Treatment Centre Ltd in August 2004.

His career spans over twenty years, working in healthcare management, strategic development and consultancy in both the US and the UK.  He is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of OR International (ORI), a US-based developer of specialty hospitals.

Prior to forming ORI, Mr Weiner was a Director and Head of the New York Office of Computer Sciences Corporation’s Healthcare Practice where he worked closely with academic medical centres, children’s hospitals and integrated delivery system clients.

Mr Weiner has been a partner (Principal) at McKinsey & Company, where he worked for fifteen years, and was the Assistant Director of the New York City Bureau of the Budget.

He also served as Staff Director of the New York State Moreland Act Commission on Nursing Homes.
