To be responsible for the commissioning and management of a 33 bed inpatient clinical area and administrative area, and day to day management of the unit to an excellent standard fo care at all times.
Through leadership and sound management of the unit, you will develop and foster a 'can do' environment.
To function as an expert clinical practitioner within the clinical area. To deliver direct patient care whilst, managing, leading, co-ordinating and overseeing nursing practice for all nursing services provided to inpatients on the Emerson’s Green site. Ensuring staff compliance in order to meet all required regulatory standards.

This will involve working in collaboration with staff and directing where appropriate to ensure services are safe and costs appropriately managed across all sites and clinical services. Working in partnership with the Registered Manager in developing and maintaining an effective service delivery and communication network within UKSH South West.
The post holder will deputize for the Executive director across all sites and provide appropriate support and professional advice and guidance for those centres where there is a centre manager with day to day responsibility
The post holder is also responsible for providing professional leadership and strategic direction, to all nursing staff and Allied Health Professionals across UKSH South West, as well as advice to the Registered Manager.
Ensuring that the organisation operates to best practice clinical standards.
