Head of Nursing and Clinical Services, Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre

Liz joined UKSH in January 2010 and is responsible for professional clinical leadership at Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre.

Liz trained at Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford. Before joining UKSH, she worked in BMI Healthcare’s Bath Clinic, where she was Director of Nursing from 1993.

Liz’s management experience is hospital wide, with a particular focus on quality and accreditation processes. Her experience includes significant involvement in the achievement of CQC standards and clinical governance practices across the board.

Liz is passionate about delivering excellent patient care, and is especially interested in how hospital-wide clinical governance can benefit clinical outcomes for patients.
