Dr Mohamed has 26 years of experience in the field of gynaecology and has established an extensive repertoire of skills in the speciality. While working at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust, he became an accredited ultrasonographer, dealing with postmenopausal and abnormal menstrual bleedings.

Having followed a special interest in urogynaecology and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery, Dr Mohamed became a certified urodynamist and a leading coordinator and trainer of TVTO procedure workshops. He has also played a key role in implementing an integrated service between primary and secondary care for treatment of urinary stress incontinence, based on best care practice.
