Dr Elod Macsai

Dr Macsai started his training at the University of Szeged, where he was nominated for the best trainee award. He attended training both nationally and internationally (University of Jena, Munich Heart Centre). He completed his training in 2002, and received his CCT in November 2002.

Dr Macsai was appointed as a Consultant Cardiac Anaesthetist where he worked until he left Hungary. He has significant experience in invasive haemodynamic monitoring and organ support. In October 2004 he joined the Barlborough NHS Treatment Centre, where he dealt with orthopaedic procedures, mainly under regional anaesthesia.
