UK Specialist Hospitals (UKSH), which runs Cirencester, Devizes and Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centres, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new senior managers.
Pam Mackie joins the organisation as Registered Manager at Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre, while Ian Thomson has been appointed Director of Operations for the South West.
Fiona Calnan, CEO UKSH, commented: “Pam and Ian bring a wealth of experience to UKSH and will support our team in continuing to provide high quality care to our patients.”
Pam Mackie joins UKSH from the Sussex Orthopaedic NHS Treatment Centre, where she was General Manager between 2008 and 2011. Pam is a nurse by training and brings over 30 years of experience to her role in overseeing day to day operations at Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre and its neighbouring sites in Cirencester and Devizes.
Ian Thomson is a seasoned healthcare manager with over 20 years experience in the healthcare sector. Ian will oversee management of all UKSH NHS treatment centres in the South West.
UKSH currently operates five hospitals in the South West, including the Cirencester NHS Treatment Centre (Gloucestershire), Devizes NHS Treatment Centre (Wiltshire), Emersons Green NHS Treatment Centre (Bristol), Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre (Plymouth) and Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre (Somerset)
